SAVING OMI: FINAL VERSION

None of the action in this sequence was as it was written in the script. The original ending had Kimiko turning into a fly and lazily going into Omi's ear. Inside Omi's brain were framed paintings and statues of himself, and in the center was a gas tank-type of fountain that she pours the chi into, turning Omi back to good. There were no water hands or 'Tsunami Water Blade: ICE!' or any hint of the true friendship that Rai and Omi shared under all that teasing and competition. I wanted this sequence to play like the end of Return of the Jedi, with Luke fighting Vader (Rai & Clay fighting Omi) while Lando and Wedge fly thru the Death Star and blow it up (Kimiko & 'good' Jack flying into Omi's head and returning his chi).

Mr. Allen--

Hi, there! My name is Christine.

I was looking through Google for various things Xiaolin Showdown and I came across this post in the lineup.

I'm a huge fan of the show, and I must say I love the idea that the inside of Omi's mind was to be paintings and statues of himself! That is so very in tune with the character.

I have a question, and I'm sorry if it comes across as rude. Would you know who to contact to see about getting Seasons 2 and 3 released to DVD and video? Xiaolin Showdown has hundreds of fans and we would all greatly appreciate having Seasons 2 and 3 at hand. As of now, the only Season that has been released -- to the fans' knowledge -- is Season 1.

That aside: The "Judging/Saving/Finding Omi" arc is one of my favorite plots in the entire series. I have long wanted to be able to say "EXCELLENT WORK!" the geniuses behind the story.

Thank you for such wonderful entertainment, and a job well done!
